DTN Weather Summary

Bryce Anderson image
Bryce Anderson – DTN Meteorologist
Miwest, Plains Snow, Rain Tuesday

Rain and snow will move across the northeastern Plains and northern Midwest Tuesday, and a few light showers will form in the southeastern Plains. The rest of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop regions will be dry. Temperatures will range from below normal in the northern Midwest to seasonal to above normal in central and southern areas. Fieldwork in the north will be disrupted by the precipitation, while some progress will be noted in most other areas. We continue to see dry soils in much of the Northern Plains with concern over crop moisture availability this season. » More DTN Weather Commentary
